The Romanian national aerobatic team – “The Hawks of Romania” – will thrill residents and guests of Burgas with a spectacular air show during SPICE Music Festival.

The aces will soar over Burgas at the invitation of the State Enterprise “Port Infrastructure,” which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2025. The spectacular aerial demonstration will take place on August 8, 2025, between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM, in the area of the Port of Burgas. The air show will also be visible from the Central Beach and the Bridge in Burgas.

The appearance of the Romanian aces is scheduled shortly after the start of the festival program. Five “Extra 300” aircraft will take to the skies over Burgas, piloted by the top aviators of “Aeroclub Romania” – an organization with over 100 years of history and international recognition in the world of aerobatics.

A solo demonstration will be performed for the audience by George Rotaru – one of the most experienced pilots in Romania. Also flying over Burgas will be Andreea Banesaru – the 25-year-old star of the Romanian team, regarded as one of the most talented female aces in Europe.

The air show will take place under favorable weather conditions. If flying is not possible on August 8 due to weather, a backup date is scheduled for August 9, 2025 – once again shortly after the start of the SPICE Music Festival program.
